Our local Federal Member for Casey Acknowledges our Impact at AGM
Our local Federal Member for Casey, Aaron Violi MP, shared these kind words in a video message at this year’s AGM. Our team appreciated his recognition of our impact on the local community.
Hi everyone. I’m really sorry I can’t be at the LinC AGM today. I’m up in Canberra making sure that our community’s voice is heard. I just want to say thank you to Mark and the team up at Yarra Junction for the opportunity to come and visit recently and see firsthand the amazing work that you do.
But also to Julie, the whole team, all the volunteers. It’s an amazing effort that you put in making sure that our community can get the food they need and unfortunately as we know this demand of service is higher than ever.Thank you for everything you do.300 families plus every week benefiting from the volunteers who give so much to LinC. The local businesses like Sanders Apples and others. I appreciate, and our community appreciates, everything you do.I’ve been honoured to be able to attend the last two AGMs and to support LinC and I’m looking forward to continuing to support your important work moving into the future. Thanks again for everything you do and I look forward to seeing you soon.
We value Mr Violi’s deep roots in our community, and appreciate his recognition at this year’s AGM and the work he does as our local Federal member and voice in the Australian Parliament.
Mr Violi visited our Fresh Food Program earlier this month.
